I know it's hard having two blogs, but I think having this might help bridge the two together.

Printing Problems....
Not sure if everyone else had a similar problem as I had but I thought I would go ahead and share what I have discovered. When I tried to print out one of the resources from the Technology Package I kept getting this page. I noticed in the User Guide it says in order to view and print documents you need to have the latest version of adobe. So I went there, downloaded the latest version and still couldn't print. Very frustrating!!!!!
That's when I started emailing Christine Wilson. She then informed me that Anne Denise was able to solve this problem. All she did was use a different computer and a different printer.
Not too hard. So I went ahead and tried that. Now just to make things a bit clearer, I want to share just want kind of printer I'm using. It's a HP Laser Jet 1320n. Here's what it looks like.

I went to use the printer in our school's office and I was happily surprised. Yeah!!! We got resources. The only problem now, is just finding some toner to print the rest of the resources. Here is what the printer I used looks like.
If you found another way to print off the documents please share.

Guide to posting comments on a blog....
I know that comments are often hard to do, but I found this video blog to be very helpful in getting the ball rolling. Please don't be shy, add your opinions and thoughts whenever you can. The website is called voicethreads and it's very cool. My plan, is to go ahead and put some of my student's work on here. Please let me know what you think
The boxes have arrived.....
We just went and picked up our boxes. Thornwood has the blue and orange systems so that made a total of 13 boxes. (8 for blue, and 5 for orange). As you can see they were nicely stacked and ready for us to load out.
I thought that we might need to make two trips but we both were able to fill up our cars with room to spare. Not too bad.
Now that we have it unloaded at our school, our next phase is setting up. Please share if you have already discovered a way that works for you. I thought about maybe bookshelves but now I'm leaning towards file cabinets. What do you think?

Spring Branch LLI Team
Here is the group of teachers (minus Christine Wilson who was holding the camera....[Thanks Christine]) who went to LLI training. We were all very fortunate to have gone, and are all excited about getting ready to implement it.
Click on the photo, so you can go to my flickr page, where you can see the names of each of the teachers.
